This container does have storage and it's called a coldholder or card rack. It comes in handy.
All is what you do is place any type of cards on top of the lid by inserting them in each slot.
There's no need to lay them down flat onthe table. Atand them up straight by lining these cards up in each slot. If you run out of room, you can make more room by placing them in these same slots.
beneath the container, all you can do is release the lid from the top and you can store any item inside the can or canister, because this canister has interior storage.
